Hillsborough, NC, 1964 - I took a shot with a cheap little camera that turned into this painting. I had no long lens, and there was no guard rail to keep me from standing about 30 feet or so from this turn, and nobody came up to me and said, “Hey, Kid, you can’t stand there!” So I did, and here it is…Thus, the title above…That’s Curtis “Crawfish” Crider in the ‘63 Mercury, and Buddy Baker in the ‘64 Ford.
