Preston Tucker was an innovator - he manufactured the Tucker automobile in the late forties, with a myriad of engineering and safety features not found on the other automobiles of the day. Very far ahead of its time. some have theorized that the larger manufacturers intentionally put him out of business. H e made fifty cars, and all but a handful have survived to this day.
