This nice '49 Cadillac is an example of my "basic car portrait" format. I start on an 18" w x 12" h Arches cold press water color sheet, and create a true to life water color rendering of your chosen car. This format includes no background  - the emphasis is on the automobile itself. When the painting is completed, we add triple matting and a satin black metal frame (24" w x 18" h), so all you have to do is hang it and enjoy!

Of course I will need a photo or photos of the car in question - these can be sent by e-mail or regular mail. 

I have made an effort to keep this item at a reasonable price over the years, so that most car enthusiasts can afford something special of their own car without breaking the bank.

The "basic car portrait" format as described above can also be done in larger sizes if you wish. The sizes listed are paper sizes - the actual image size will be slightly smaller to allow margins for matting/framing.

On 20" w x 14" h (usually frames up to 28" w x 22" h) - $450.00 plus shipping.

On 24" w x 18" h (usually frames up to 32" w x 26" h) - $675.00 plus shipping.

You can always add a nice hood ornament or badge as an enhancement to your commissioned car portrait - the pricing for this additional element in the composition  is usually not expensive, but it may vary, so inquire. I'm sure we can accommodate your wishes.

This Corvette Grand Sport is an example of several elements combined to show different views and/or details of the subject.  The various elements are carefully arranged to create an overall composition that is balanced and coherent - and it works nicely if you just can't decide which single view of the car to display!

The "multi image approach can be done in several sizes, and of course each one is completely unique, and must be quoted individually. To give you a "ballpark" idea, though, something similar to this composition could be done on a 24" w x 18"h paper, framed to 32" w x 26" h for around $2500.00 (+ or -). Call or e-mail for yours!

With this Buick Woodie Wagon, instead of engine, interior etc., I have blended a couple of dramatic closeups to the composition, all blended smoothly together.
